All five have a free tier, let you create your own characters and list memory as a feature. They differ in how free use is counted, which media you get and what the plans cost.

What the free tier gives you

A long ai girlfriend chat can use dozens of messages, so the way each app counts them matters more than the headline number:

• CrushOn.AI sets a monthly limit, which suits short sessions spread across the month.
• DreamGF.ai hands out trial coins at registration, so how far you get depends on what you spend them on.
• Nectar AI resets a small allowance every day, so you can come back daily without paying.
• OurDream.ai limits you per character, which lets you sample several characters but keeps each talk brief.
• SpicyChat AI has no message limit, and you pay with waiting time.

What paid plans cost

Entry prices start at $5.95 a month for SpicyChat AI’s Get a Taste plan, which takes away the queue and the ads. CrushOn.AI’s Standard plan is $5.99 a month, with up to 60% off on annual plans.

The other three show $9.99, but the number means something different each time. Nectar AI Premium is $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, which comes to about $5 a month if you pay upfront, and its Ultimate tier is $34.99 a month. OurDream.ai reaches $9.99 a month only on annual billing ($119.88 a year); month to month it is $19.99. DreamGF.ai has a promo first month at $9.99 to $12.99, then a regular price of $25.98 a month.

Features beyond text

All five can generate images. Voice is available everywhere except SpicyChat AI, and only Nectar AI and OurDream.ai offer video. CrushOn.AI, Nectar AI, OurDream.ai and SpicyChat AI allow adult chats, so look at each app’s content rules and minimum age before you sign up.

Device support varies too. DreamGF.ai and SpicyChat AI run on the web, iOS and Android, CrushOn.AI on the web and Android, and Nectar AI and OurDream.ai on the web only.

How to narrow down ai girlfriend apps

I’d make the decision in this order:

1. Decide what you need beyond text. Wanting video leaves two apps, and wanting voice rules out one.
2. Estimate your weekly messages and match them to a free limit. If you only chat a little each day, a daily allowance may be enough.
3. Try two or three free tiers for a few evenings with a similar character, and see which one holds on to details.
4. Work out the yearly cost. Annual plans are paid upfront, and a promo price ends after the first month.
5. Check the current price on the official site and find out how to cancel before you pay.

Before you share anything personal

Each of these ai girlfriend apps has its own privacy policy, so read how it stores and deletes chats. I would leave my real name, address and workplace out of the conversation. Set a monthly budget if you buy coins, and note any renewal date. If the chats start replacing time with people you care about, take a break from them.
